The Gordon County Building & Grounds Department has the responsibility of maintaining approximately 40 county-owned buildings, keeping all interior and exterior areas clean, ordering housekeeping material and supplies, performing mowing and landscaping duties for all county facilities, resolving building related complaints, conducting minor renovation projects to county facilities as needed, assisting with major renovation projects, assisting all departments with transporting public records to and from records retention, and transporting and setup of election equipment to the precincts during county elections.
