Geographical Information Systems Department

The Gordon County Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Department maintains and distributes geographic information, analysis tools, and mapping products for use by the County's staff in their daily operations. Data maintained by the GIS Department includes political boundaries, land parcel information, infrastructure systems, emergency response facilities, recreational facilities, and other associated data pertaining to county operations. Data is maintained in GIS file formats. The GIS staff also develops and maintains GIS databases and applications, provide technical and operational support for GIS-related hardware and software, as well as providing mapping products and services to the citizens of Gordon County.
