This listing of Bids & RFP's represents potential purchases by Gordon County. Often, the aquisition of quotes for many items (not listed here) is performed at the user department level. These quotes are then later evaluated by the Purchasing Department.

 Gordon County also distributes bid information through "Find RFP. Find RFP works to bring together government agencies to provide a more efficient and convenient bidding process.

2011-EM101 Narrow Band Radios

The purpose of this RFP is to hire an independent radio system consultant who is not a vendor of radio communication equipment to guide the county through the FCC mandated narrowbanding requirements prior to the January 1, 2013 deadline. In addition, the consultant will also discuss with the county the merits and costs of possibly migrating to a 700 MHz or 800 MHz digital radio system.
